BTRboard (Better Thermal Resistance) is an insulated wall sheathing product that combines OSB, fire-resistant OSB, or Type X exterior gypsum sheathing with a low-absorption thermoset foam core.
By eliminating extra layers and simplifying installation, we help streamline construction while reducing material usage and labour costs for your team.
An inert fibreglass facer that helps increase structural shear strength and limit foam shrinkage.
A low-absorption thermoset foam core, 1″ or 1 3/16″ thick depending on the product. Continuous insulation built into the panel.
The substrate varies by product: OSB, fire-resistant OSB, or Type X exterior gypsum sheathing.
